Are you a fanatic Kpop Fan and are looking to buy some albums? Well, you’ve come to the right place. We’ve created a list of the 13 stores where you can buy Kpop albums seamlessly.

Many Kpop fans don’t know where to buy an album and seek a good opportunity to buy their first album.

When I wanted to buy an album from my favorite Kpop group, there weren’t many sites I could buy from. However, throughout the years, there were more and more sites popped up and started selling albums.

This is probably because Kpop has become mainstream, and the fanbase has grown significantly in comparison to years back.

If you haven’t bought a Kpop album in your life yet and you’re a true Kpop fan, you’re probably missing out on some fun. Let’s get right to the list of the 13 stores where you can buy your favorite Kpop albums.

1. Amazon

Amazon is one of the biggest stores worldwide. As you might know already, shipping is insanely fast, and ordering is easy. They have a big collection of different albums and are affordable. I’ve been buying albums here if I want one that I want.

Generally speaking, the albums on Amazon are a bit more expensive than on other sides, but they do have one-day shipping. For most people, this weighs the price, and it’s very easy for people to buy. If you’re interested in buying from Amazon, you can check it out here.

Here are some albums that I’ve bought on Amazon:
BTS 5th Mini Album – LOVE YOURSELF
TWICE – Eyes wide open
ATEEZ – Treasure EP.2: Zero to One
EXO Kai 1st Solo Mini Album
Big hit Entertainment ENHYPEN – Border: Day ONE

As you can see, these albums are pretty popular, and I’m very happy to buy them. The albums were in perfect conditioner, and I highly recommend buying from Amazon if you want fast and free shipping.

KTown4U is pretty much an all in one that sells everything. Anything from merch, albums to even figures. From my experience, the shipping was pretty expensive even though he is from the United States.

The album arrived perfectly, and I’m planning to buy more from this site in the future. The assortment they have is outstanding if you compare it to some others. Many other stores don’t have many albums in stock because it costs a lot if the albums never sell.

What’s Inside A Kpop Album?

There’s no exact answer since every album is different but generally speaking, inside an album consists of:

  • Photobook
  • CD
  • Lyrics Book
  • Poster (first releases only)
  • Photocards (random member)

As you can see,  it might be worth I for some people, but at the end of the day, if you’re going to buy a Kpop album, it’s to support your favorite group. People that have the intention of buying albums and reselling the photocards often lose a lot of money.

How To Sell Kpop Albums?

The best way to sell Kpop albums is to sell them on eBay. I’ve been selling albums over there for the past year now, and it has been a great experience. Make sure only to sell albums that you’re never going to use anymore.

Some of my albums I keep as a collection because they are precious to me. The albums I sold were old ones I had lying around and collecting dust.

Generally speaking, albums sell pretty fast if there’s a demand for them. If you don’t want to sell on eBay, you can also sell your albums on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist. Another way to sell your albums is to ask your friends or family that are also into Kpop.

How To Sell Kpop Albums

How Much Are Kpop Albums?

Kpop albums range anywhere from $10 to $40 and sometimes even up to $150. Those albums that are expensive are often a collection of many goodies and items. The majority of the albums sold are less than $30.

I’ve bought many Kpop albums, and I always wait till a day like Blackfriday comes to pick up some cheap albums. Other than that, I don’t buy albums that are over $30. That’s a lot for an album, so if you also want to do that. It’s best to wait for a huge sale and buy some more.

Are Kpop Albums Worth Buying?

Yes, Kpop albums are worth buying if you’re a true Kpop fan. However, most people that buy kpop albums never use them and sit there collecting dust. If you’re that type of person, then no Kpop albums aren’t worth buying.

Remember that Kpop albums are there to support your favorite group. It’s not something that holds a lot of value unless you have very rare albums from way back. Generally speaking, people buy albums because they want to support their favorite artists.

If you’re only buying the album to play the CD, you’re probably better off downloading it off the internet or playing it on YouTube. You might be thinking, if Kpop albums aren’t worth buying, why do people keep buying them?

Well, buying the albums help the groups get higher on the charts. Doing this will give them a higher chance of winning an award, giving them more attention.

Why Do Kpop Fans Buy Albums?

Buying albums will support the idols and help them release more music in the future. You’re also getting some goodies and exclusive pictures. So to keep it short, Kpop fans buy albums because:

  • Directly supporting the artist
  • Helps with charts
  • Exclusive pictures
  • Photocards
  • CD with value

Are Kpop (BTS) Albums Cheaper In Korea?

Yes, the majority of albums that are being sold in Korea are cheaper than in other countries. It’s because the albums are being produced in Korea, making them more accessible than in western countries.

If you have to export albums to the US and Europe, it will cost more, making the end customer pay more. So, if you’re ever going to visit Korea, it’s a good idea to buy some more albums there and take them with you.

How Many Songs Are In A Full Album Of Kpop?

It ranges anywhere from 5 up to 25 songs. Most artists have an average of 15 songs in each album, but it’s different for every Kpop group since the company decides that. The idols only sing and dance to the songs that are made for them.

Kpop groups release singles, EPs or albums. Those are the three main music groups they release, and it works very well. Every time a big group releases music, it creates a lot of hype, making them want to stream the full album.

Conclusion

Now that you’ve come to the end of this article, I hope you’ve found the information you were looking for. The stores I’ve mentioned above are just the ones that I know. There might be many more stores added in the future, but those are safe to use.

I’ve been buying Kpop albums for over three years now, and my collection is just getting bigger and bigger. If you want to support your idols, make sure to stream their songs. There’s no need to buy the album if you can’t afford it.

Streaming their songs is already enough, and if you want to do something extra, you can buy the album. Thanks for reading this article and the guide. If there are any questions that I can answer for you, contact me on the contact page.
