Kpop Idols normally wash their hair every other day. That’s 3 to 4 times a week.

As you might see, a lot of Kpop idols dye their hair ever come back. You’re probably wondering how they keep their hair healthy and smooth at all times.

If you’re interested in their hair care routines and try to achieve this yourself, please keep reading on.

Washing the hair daily won’t be good for the scalp. As for hair treatments don’t do it too often.

If used too much, it can be not good for the scalp, but they use many hair treatments from professionals to try keeping it healthy.

It’s not something that everyone should do because too much hair dye can ruin your scalp. This happened to some idols when they dyed their hair too much, and it got extremely damaged. If you can’ avoid this at all costs, that would be the best.

How Do Kpop Idols Keep Their Hair Healthy?

A lot of idols have a professional hairstylist that keep their hair looking good. They also go to the hair salon way more often than regular people.

While a regular person only goes to the hair salon only once every 2 to 3 weeks. The idols almost go every week, if not more than once.

The hair routines are also very important when keeping the Kpop idol hair healthy. This can be with products like a good shampoo, conditioner, and hair mask.  I did in the past when my hair was extremely damaged, using a hair mask every week.

This improved my hair over time, and I’ve been recommending it to all of my friends ever since. If you haven’t heard of a hair mask, it’s pretty much just a treatment for the hair. It will moisturize your hair and give it a shiny look.

Are Kpop Idols Hair Damaged?

Yes, Kpop Idol’s hair can be very damaged when treated wrong; however, most of the idols get a good treatment and have a very long lifespan when you look at the hair. They dye their hair at least once every six months.

The damaged hair can be treated in many different ways, like going to the hair salon, or seeking professional help.

This is not always necessary and probably never for you. I did treat my damaged hair by going to my hairstylist and just asking for advice.

She said to me to use a conditioner and hair mask more often. I used those products every two weeks, but no, I use them every 3 to 4 days to keep my hair even more moisturized. This is something you should try yourself fly you haven’t already.

If you’re interested in idols, who have experienced a lot of hair loss and damage, here is a video for you to check out.

Why Do Kpop Idols Have No Facial Hair?

Kpop Idols don’t have facial hair because it’s not attractive in the publics’ eyes. They look a lot older, which makes it not as clean and smooth. Some idols do have facial hair, but the majority of the fans don’t like that.

Also, many fans aren’t the same age as idols. The idol’s audience they mostly target is teenagers between 13 to 25, which makes promoting facial hair a lot harder than you might think.

However, there is also an older generation that does like men with facial hair. You probably won’t know any idols with facial hair because those are mainly the only Korean TV people.

The idols you see are the people on YouTube, and that’s also where almost all teenagers are on these days. Teenagers watch less and less TV because they can’t search for what they want to watch themselves or have to wait for a specific time before a program airs.

How Often Do Kpop Idols Dye Their Hair?

How Often Do Kpop Idols Dye Their Hair

Idols dye their hair at least once every six months when being active. There are also times when they don’t dye their hair but only change the hairstyle, which makes it seem refreshing.

Dying the hair can look very good for many people, but you shouldn’t do this too often since it’s very harsh on the scalp. In a couple of years, when you look back at the time, you dyed your hair, and you’re starting to lose hair.

You probably would have stopped dying the hair to avoid hair loss. However,r this isn’t something that you can predict, and some people are never going to be bald because of the extremely strong scalp they have.

While you look at some other people that are just going bald because of genetics, the best thing you can do to avoid hair loss is to follow a good hair routine. This includes using a conditioner and hair mask after shampooing.

How Do I Style My Hair Like Kpop Idols?

There are many ways to style your hair like a Kpop idol; however, the easiest way is just going to a hairstylist and asking them for advice. Make sure to ask a professional for advice since many Western stylists don’t know how to style Asian hair.

I’ve had this problem myself in the past where I would go to a western hairstylist and completely messed up my hair. Just keep in mind that they also do their best, and you shouldn’t bash them if something goes wrong.

If you don’t want to go to a hairstylist, you can look up many tutorials on YouTube and do the same as them.

A lot of tutorials like these above need a pretty long time for the hair to grow out. It’s not short but rather long on the top. The sides are faded, and it’s some two-block haircut. These haircuts are extremely popular in Asia.

Final Thoughts

Now that you’ve come to the end of this article. You see that idols dye their hair pretty often, and it isn’t good for the scalp. In short, Kpop Idols wash their hair 3 to 4 times a week, depending on how much they have to perform.

On some days, they have to perform more often, or when shooting music videos, they have to change the hairstyle many times. So, there’s no exact number on how many times Kpop idols wash their hair.
