ITZY Lia is from a girl group that debuted under JYP. It was revealed that she lost weight through extreme dieting. Lia has always had a slim body but recently became even thinner.

She revealed in her interview that because of this, time for meals decreased to only every other day. However, Lia said she isn’t considering becoming like someone skinny like Jessica (SNSD).

Lia’s Diet Plan

Lia tends to wake up really early every day. But when she isn’t promoting she prefers to wake up quite late. This causes her to skip breakfast. Normally this shouldn’t be a problem but once you do this too often it can cause your metabolism to slow down.

On her days off she usually wakes up at 12 AM or 1 PM and likes to get a smoothie or brunch. But it is important she doesn’t eat too much and also gets a snack in between meals.

Breakfast: Fruit smoothie or simple brunch. This is easy and fast for her to make.

Lunch: Cherry tomatoes or other vegetables. Her exact lunch isn’t known because she’s known to have a sweet tooth. And if you eat sweet stuff for lunch, this can create an imbalance in your blood sugar level.

Dinner: She usually eats dinner at 5 or 6 PM when she is promoting. But when she’s not promoting her dinner will only be when she is really hungry like when the time is 10 or 11 PM.

The idol, on the other hand, claims to enjoy glazed donuts every day. She says that they should only consume one, but she herself snacks on many donuts throughout the day! She loves eating kimchi fried rice with mozzarella cheese on top for supper. She microwaves it for a few seconds in order for the cheese to melt.

ITZY Lia’s Exercise Routine

For Lia’s exercise routine you should be looking at Kpop idols that are quite skinny like Suzy. We think that her exercise routine is really simple but this doesn’t mean that it’s a bad thing.

I’ve tried Lia’s exercise routine myself and it’s quite hard for beginners. If you’re looking to lose weight yourself then you should try Lia’s diet plan first. But let’s be honest here, it’s almost impossible to lose weight without exercise.

She probably works out 5 times a week for an average of 1 hour each time. This will get the ball rolling and should be good enough to lose weight. But if you want to continue losing weight, I would recommend doing more than 1 hour of exercise.

Her workout would probably look something like this:

  • Jumping jacks for 10 minutes or High knees for 10 minutes. This helps her to prepare for the rest of the exercises she is about to do.
  • Leg raises (10 reps each leg)
  • Side leg raises (10 reps each side)

Other than that it’s been known that ITZY has insane dance practices. You can expect them to train at least 6+ hours almost every day.

Should You Try ITZY Lia’s Diet Plan?

No, you shouldn’t. Lia’s diet plan is something that can only be done for a short period of time. This is because her diet consists mostly of fruit and vegetables which aren’t great if you constantly eat them.

If you eat fruit and vegetables all day, it can mess up your metabolism and cause weight gain instead. The secret about Lia’s diet plan is that she eats meat!

The diets idols go through is too harsh for the average student. You can follow her exercise routine but don’t follow the diet.

It can cause many issues later on in life and to avoid this it’s best to eat what you want.

Make sure to stay within a certain calorie range to lose weight. This will show that you are using the best possible method to lose weight.

How Do Kpop Idols Stay Skinny?

Idols stay skinny because they exercise and eat well. Lia’s diet plan is the best way to start losing weight if you aren’t doing so already.

You should also limit your calories to between 1200-1500 each day only if you want to lose weight really fast without exercise.

What we noticed is that idols exercise very long hours and don’t exactly eat junk food. They only snack on it and when they do, they make sure to stay healthy.

This is because snacks can be a downfall and normally idols give up their diet plan after 3 months. So it’s important that you limit your intake of snacks.

Other than that drinking lots of water is good for your skin and it flushes out all of the toxins in your body.


Lia is one of those idols whose diet plan is known by her fans. Since there is no secret about her diet, she can be considered an idol who has a healthy image. But is still quite skinny. We hope that she keeps promoting and stay healthy.
