How To Get Korean Dewy Skin: Fast and Easy

Published on:

Are you aging, getting saggy skin, or just want to improve your skincare routine?

Last month I spent $352,43 on Korean skincare alone just to achieve perfect skin.

But what happened after 4 days… my skin got red, irritated, and started to break out.

So I stopped using every immediately. Now I’m 14-days into my current skincare routine to achieve dewy skin and there are many tips I wish someone had told me earlier.

Don’t make the same mistakes as I did, unless you want to purposely damage your skin.

Let’s cut the chase and get started.

Korean Dewy Skincare Routine

Step 1: Start by looking at your own skin

Before you start buying random products that will probably be useless. It’s important to look at your own skin first, mainly because most people often don’t know what kind of skin type they have.

There are many skin types like:

  • Oily skin
  • Dry skin
  • Supple skin

And many more, therefore you shouldn’t go too fast. If you go too fast and start buying thousands of dollars worth of skincare, it’ll eventually be a waste of money.

This was a huge mistake I made in the beginning. I spent over $500 on my first order, only to find out that almost none of those products actually worked for me.

These days I’m very careful with the Korean skincare products I purchase. Especially since there are so many products to choose from. You just don’t know which one to get and most often the workers are there just to sell you.

If you have no clue what kind of skin type you have, try going to a dermatologist. They’ll be able to help you out and give you a better idea.

Step 2: Get skincare products that suit your skin type

Getting skincare products that suit your skin type is extremely important unless you want to purposely damage your skin.

These days it’s quite easy to get high-quality skincare products for a decent price. I normally go to Target, Costco, or shop on Amazon.

These stores are the most popular and also the best stores to achieve Korean dewy skin.

I highly recommend getting soft cotton pads because these are way better for the skin. Multiple scientific studies have shown that this helps improve the skin, while also giving it a natural glow.

Now, of course, not all Korean beauty products can be bought at these stores. However, the majority of products that I personally use can be easily bought here.

The brands that are popular in Korea have gone mainstream, which means it’s available everywhere.

Step 3: Create a budget for your routine

Creating a budget for your routine to get dewy skin is crucial.

Don’t make the same mistake as I did by overspending $50+ on products that didn’t even work. Products like cotton pads are not necessary at all, and if you think it is… it’s really not.

Most skin care products don’t require cotton pads, therefore you don’t need to waste money on it. It’s basically a product that people “think” they need, while it’s just a waste of money.

However, there are reusable cotton pads out there that are quite good. Those ones are great. I have been using these for about 3 months now and didn’t need to throw them away after one use.

Keep in mind that the majority of people don’t get reusable cotton pads, so make sure you do and use it efficiently.

Step 4: Try out new products

Now let’s move to try out new products. By trying out new products, I don’t mean spending all your money on products that you aren’t using.

It means that you specifically select a few products that are suited for your skin type. These could be products that include shea butter for example, or keep the skin hydrated. There are tons and tons of products out there that do exactly this.

Now it’s very important that you actually use the new products for at least a few weeks, mainly because that’s when the results will be most visible.

Never buy Korean skincare without using it for at least a few weeks, unless you want to burn your wallet.

Step 5: Remove the products that are too pricey

Once you’ve tried out your new products, make sure to remove the ones that are too pricey.

Especially, the ones that you can’t afford. Remove these skincare products immediately and avoid these as much as possible.

There was a time when I overspend $30/mo on an exfoliator that didn’t even work. This was one of the worse decisions I made because spending that much on an exfoliator is very bad.

However, if you can afford it, then you can skip this step and move on to the next one.

Step 6: Achieving dewy skin

Now that you removed the products that are too expensive, it’s time to speed up your journey to achieving Korean dewy skin.

Use the products for a certain timeframe, this could be anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks.

Keep using it and adjust it to your liking. Everyone’s skin is different, there’s no one size fits all for skincare.

Most people tend to sell you to the idea, that there’s a one-size-fits-all. But it’s very unlikely that this is actually true.

The categories that fall into “dry”, “oily” or “normal” skin are just to sell you more products at once.

Step 7: Finalizing your own skincare routine

Now it’s time to finalize your skincare routine. Make sure you’ve tested all the products you wanted to test. And make a final routine.

Get 4 or 5 products that you really like, which you know will get you Korean dewy skin, and start using these.

Now, you’ll see that your skin will get some extra glow, your clogged pores will be gone and the best part.

Your skin will be as soft as baby skin.

Yes… really, I had the exact results. The only thing that you have to do is keep using these products for the rest of your life.

Remember, skin care is not a sprint but a marathon. Once you keep using these skincare products, you’ll be grateful that you did.

In 5 to 10 years, when all of your friends have saggy skin, you won’t.

Step 8: Don’t stop using it

Don’t stop using your exact skincare routine.

Use this Korean skincare routine forever, until the day you can’t stop using this anymore. That’s why it’s important that you see this as an investment, and not as a once-off payment.

It can be a journey of many months, where gradually your skin will improve slowly.

The people that sell you a skincare routine that will change your skin within hours are almost all fake. There’s no way that you can improve your skin within hours, without makeup.

Can Everyone Achieve Korean Dewy Skin?

Yes, everyone can achieve Korean dewy skin. The only problem is that it takes time, whereas most people don’t want to spend their time doing this.

It’s a must.

That’s why the majority of people will never achieve Korean dewy skin.

Mainly because they don’t want to spend their “precious” time trying out new products or browsing through the internet for the latest releases.

Give it a try, you won’t regret it.

Once you’re there, it’s all about maintaining your skincare routine. Especially, if it’s in your daily routine, it won’t take longer than 10 minutes.

Conclusion

Now that you’ve come to the end of the article. It’s quite easy to achieve Korean dewy skin. Just make sure to follow the 8 steps and within a few weeks or months, your dewy skin will be healthier than ever.
