Working out might be very hard, especially if you’re trying to do everything at once. That’s why we advise you to follow this Korean workout routine for beginners.

It’s easy to follow and will help you lose weight a lot faster.

Many Kpop idols are also working out 2 to 3 times a week, and this is a lot since there are also dancing, singing, and studying. All this happens every day, as you can see this is a lot and many trainees are dedicating their life to being an idol.

At first, I didn’t like working out, but over time it got more fun, and the most important tip is to stay consistent. The moment you slack off, everything will fall apart. To avoid that from happening, try to create a routine that you follow every day.

Warming Up

To warm up the body, we’re going to do some pushups and squats. This isn’t easy, especially if you’ve never worked it out before. However, get started and see how many you can do. Every couple of days, you’ll see progress, and eventually, it will become easier.

The warming up goes as follows:

10Pushups
10Squats
30Jumping Jacks

Once you’ve completed the warming up, let’s get started with the 20-minute Korean workout routine. In this workout routine, we’ve included some exercises of the BTS Jungkook workout. It might not be the exact same, but we think it’s quite similar.

20Push-Ups
20Squats
20Jumping Squat
20Pike Push-ups
10Mountain Climber
20Burpees
15Crunch
20Leg Raises
20Squats

Once you’ve finished this workout, you’re probably pretty tired. As you can see, BTS Jungkook doesn’t do easy workouts, so make sure to try this at home and see for yourself. Many people that have tried this workout routine actually lost some weight.

Keep consistency, and you’ll see some fast results. Don’t forget that Jungkook also started from zero, and it wasn’t easy for him either. In the beginning, everything is hard, but once you get better at it, it starts getting fun and exciting.

Wonho Workout Routine For Abs

Wonho’s workout routine is probably different, but this is the one he did in this YouTube video. The workout is pretty hard, so we don’t recommend doing everything at once if you’re a beginner. It is doable for most people, but it requires a lot of work.

If you can follow this Wonho workout routine, you’re already above average because he’s already pretty ripped in that video. The workout goes as follows:

15Toe Crunches
20Plank
10Side Crunches While Raising Right Leg
10Side Crunches While Raising Left Leg
10Sit-Ups with a Twist
15Plank
10Knee-ups
10Bicycle Crunches

How Many Hours Do Kpop Idols Workout?

Idols workout on average 3 to 4 times a week for 2 hours. In total, that’s about 6 to 8 hours a week of working out. This is the average because there are some idols that do workout more often than others. This all comes down to what their schedule looks like and if they are working out on their own.

Idols like BTS Jungkook are known to be pretty ripped, and they workout often. Idols have professional trainers with them at all times when going on a world tour. They want the idols to stay as fit as possible because the activities they do need some energy.

Dancing is also a way of working out, so if you include that into the total hours, it would be way more. Idols dance for 8+ hours a day just to learn dancing and try to be the best at it. The same goes for singing, but most people don’t include that in their workout routine.

How Do Koreans Lose Weight?

Most Koreans lose weight by dieting. It’s not something all Koreans do, but most of them who want to lose weight is dieting. Others are also working out, but it’s what works best for them. Generally speaking, Korean bodies are a bit smaller than those from the USA.

Achieving the body shape you’re going for is hard, and you need to create a plan. It’s best to split it up into multiple blocks since it’s easier to track. Another great tip is to track your calorie intake. Many Koreans do this to avoid eating too much.

Other ways to lose weight like extreme dieting is also possible. However, we don’t recommend this at all since the diets some Kpop idols follow are pretty extreme. Try to create a diet that suits your lifestyle, and you’re ready to go.

Final Thoughts

Now that you’ve come to an end, you probably know that the Korean workout routine isn’t easy. However, getting started is already the first step, and many people know it’s not easy losing weight. it takes weeks of working out before seeing any results.

This is why you shouldn’t give up and keep going. Idols do the same thing over and over again, and they aren’t even certain that they’re going to debut. It’s very hard for idols to be 100% their debut is soon since the company can push it back whenever they want.

The same goes for working out. The moment you stop working out, it’s going to be very hard to get back on your feet. So, make sure to stay consistent and don’t give up; eventually, you’ll get there.
