Time Revolution The First Essence 5X Review 2022 (Updated)

Published on:

First of all, I have to say that the Time Revolution The First Essence 5X isn’t cheap. But as you’ll see in the review… I’ll show you the best sites to get it for the best price.

I know this because I’ve spent over $300+ on Korean skincare products this month alone.

To save you at least a few hours browsing the internet. I went through 3 months of thorough testing, and in this review, I’ll give you a full overview of every little detail you must know BEFORE BUYING.

Most of the reviews I found were either outdated or flat out misleading. This product has been reviewed over and over again and anything you read is probably missing important info.

Let me just say this: the internet is full of BS reviews that are there just to promote the site, and trust me you don’t want to fall into that trap.

Take your time to read this review, think about it as an investment, and don’t cut corners when it comes to skincare.

In this Time Revolution The First Essence 5X Review, I’ll cover:

  • What is the Time Revolution The First Essence 5X?
  • What you can expect from this Korean essence
  • Why do some people falsely call it a waste of money
  • Some legit concerns about sites you buy from
  • My overall opinion after using it for 3 months.

Wondering if The First Essence 5X is worth it? You’re about to find out!

(Spoiler: It’s 100000% worth it. But there are a few things you need to know first)

What Is The Time Revolution The First Essence 5x?

The Time Revolution The First Essence 5x is a Korean essence created by Missha.

It’s clinically proven to improve your overall skin tone within 14-days.

… Well, let me be honest. They say that it improves your skin tone within 14-days, but when I started using it it was about 20 days. Now, that doesn’t really matter, but I think setting realistic expectations is important.

Things to know:

These ingredients are used a lot in the K-beauty industry, which means that it works.

Unlike, the majority of “western” skincare products out there that just want to make money, Missha actually has scientific studies backing their products.

But ever since K-beauty has blown up, this essence also went crazy. Everyone started buying this, and that’s probably why the price has risen by at least 20% in the last few months.

Check out the full ingredients:

Bifida Ferment Lysate, Diethoxyethyl Succinate, Niacinamide, 1,2-Hexanediol, Adenosine, Water, Lecithin, Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate, Potassium Sorbate, Glycerin, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Acetic Acid, Purified Water, Polyquaternium-51, Ceramide NP, Phenoxyethanol, Dimethicone, Yeast Ferment Extract, Lactic Acid, Hordeum Vulgare Extract, Cassia Alata Leaf Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium PCA, Butylene Glycol, Dipropylene Glycol

Expectations From The First Essence 5x

People set unrealistic expectations when they get started with Korean skincare. But let’s avoid that issue.

Some realistic expectations you get from The First Essence 5x are:

  • Improved skin tone
  • No more dehydrated skin
  • An added layer of protection

Now, these are just a few that I got when I used this. And after using it for 3 months, I can definitely say that it’s worth a go.

You know that you can achieve the same results, but probably are just sitting around…

… not taking any action.

Trust me, I was there too a few years from now. You wish you started with Korean skincare, and specifically this essence from Missha.

You can build your entire skincare routine on this product alone, or just use this single product. Doing that will improve your skin by at least 5x.

Once your skin has gotten used to this essence, you’ll feel like no one can stop you.

You can then recommend this to all of your friends and improves everyone’s skin.

You’re happy, you’re friends are happy— EVERYONE IS HAPPY.

The First Essence 5x A Waste Of Money?

There have been rumors going around that this essence is a waste of money…

Yes… Even with over 1,600 5-star reviews.

Let’s take a look at the “bad” reviews and see why people wrote them:

“I did not experience a more brightening of the complexion or more moisturised skin. It claims to help with wrinkles, whitening, hyperpigmentation and hydration. Nothing for me.”

“Using this product burned my eyes. Even when I wasn’t applying it on the area around my eyes, it still manages to sting. I think I have a sensitivity towards this product.”

Now, I don’t want to hate on these people but from reading this…

You see that the first one didn’t do enough research and the second review used it on the eyes. This essence is not supposed to be used for the eyes.

Let’s move on to the pros and cons of The First Essence 5x

What I Like About The First Essence 5x

After using it for 3 months, it’s a no-brainer for me.

I use it every single morning and my skin has never been this smooth.

Note: I changed up my skincare routine, so I can’t say that it’s entirely based on this essence alone.

This essence works for anyone with:

  • Dull Skin
  • Aging Skin
  • Sensitive Skin

I don’t want to overpromote this product but look at this.

This essence alone won more than 5 awards.

YES, 5 AWARDS.

Have you ever seen that with another Korean skincare product?

It’s very unlikely. So think about it…

If you’re serious about improving your skin and want to upgrade your routine, you’re actually really lucky. You’re going to have a huge advantage over the other people that didn’t read this article.

You can get 10% off your first YesStyle order.

That alone makes the price even more affordable. Don’t waste your money on other stores and overpay for what it’s actually worth.

What I Don’t Like About The First Essence 5x or Could be Better

This might be a shock for some people, but The First Essence 5x isn’t perfect.

Let’s be honest. Nothing is perfect, if it was then everyone in the world would be using this essence.

Personally, I don’t think that this essence is a magical product. There’s just too much hype around it right now. That doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t get it, but if the price was a bit lower I would have recommended it to everyone I knew.

Here’s what you should consider before buying.

The Pricing is a Bit High

The price for this essence is on the high end. Look at other Korean essences that are slightly worse but do deliver the same results.

Those ones are way more affordable. And in the long run, it’ll save you some serious money. However, if you can afford this, then it’s a must-have.

If you really want to try this essence but don’t have the budget right now. Try to set some money aside and get it with BlackFriday for example.

Because you WILL see results with this essence.

It’s not a gamble like other skincare products out there.

Most importantly, look at it from an investment perspective. Your skin will love this product and if you aren’t using it today, your skin will probably get worse and worse.

Before you know it, you’ll look in your 40s.

Just kidding.

Only get it if you can afford it!

Cotton Pads are a Must

Cotton pads are a must when you get this essence. Using it with your hands is possible, but definitely not as effective.

It will take at least 3x longer to see the same results. Unlike your hands, cotton pads are made to moisturize dehydrated skin well.

Your hands won’t be as useful.

And you don’t NEED cotton pads, but it’s definitely a way to speed up the process and achieve perfect skin a bit faster.

Verdict: Splurge or Save?

Splurge for sure!

Get it right now if you want serious results. It’s by far the best Korean essence on the market right now and contains yeast ferment extract. This ingredient is proven to improve your overall skin tone and brighten the skin.

I would repurchase this every time I could. I give it a 9/10 because it’s not the most affordable essence out there.
